Store Directories
Studies
show that new customers place great value on store directory
pamphlets to enhance their shopping experience. Yet, most
retailers produce them only for grand openings or remodels
because of
their high labor intensity, long lead times, and logistical
complexities. However, every one of your stores is brand
new to the thousands of first-time shoppers who pass through
your
doors each year.
We
have solved these production challenges. Over the past several
years, thousands of copies of one-of-a-kind, custom-designed
directory pamphlets have been produced for each of over 450
Albertsons (formerly Lucky) California and Nevada stores.
We
have systematized and perfected the technique, using database
tracking, electronic file transmission, and extensive personal
telephone and fax contact with store managers to ensure greatest
possible accuracy and rapid turnaround.

move your mouse across the four directories. |
The
files we produce each depict a 3-dimensional map, or layout
of the store, derived from a blueprintor even a sketchalong
with a handy, alphabetical list of most popular items. The map portion
allows your customers to see an overview of the relative positions
of areas and product adjacencies, while the alphabetical listing directs
them to
the aisle in which the item is located.
The
directories can also be single-sided for use in shopping cart ad
panels, if you prefer. Well design them to your specifications, ensuring
graphical continuity with your other branded materials. Whatever the format,
they can be made available on your Web sitefor customer downloading
and personal printing.
We
will complete the files, ready for output to film for you to print,
or we can handle the entire operation from initiation to fulfillment and
replenishment,
to periodic updatesall with no requirement on the part of your graphics
department and minimal effort from your operations staff.
If
you have dozens or hundreds of stores in multiple markets, we can electronically
deliver completed files similar to those shown (excluding printing and
shipping) for just a few hundred dollars per store. Remodels and revisions
are considerably less. Add a vendor advertising program to the mix, and
your investment is very often zero. As a customer service tool, and with
the removal of the hassle factor, the cost/benefit equation is compelling.
Maps
A
map to your location should include only details that help folks
get there, and exclude all others. The standard “Mapquest” Web-based
map is often cluttered with superfluous detail, and excludes key
information to help your prospective visitor. One client’s showroom
was far removed from the center of the sprawling Dallas/Ft. Worth
metroplex. We created a map to help get folks from anywhere to the
showroom.
